Description
This one-of-a-kind flatweave is woven entirely from undyed wool, with no pile, no added colour, and no dye anywhere on the piece. Selected for texture, scale, and exact-piece character, with final color confirmed by video before payment is captured.

Wool from Middle Atlas, Morocco.
Construction
Handwoven as a flatweave with diamond motifs. Dimensions: 140 × 102 cm (approx. 4'7" × 3'4"). Weight: 3.0 kg.
Condition
Flatwoven throughout with no pile. The raised cord lattice is unbroken across the full field. Both end fringes are present, with no thin or open areas. The ground shows natural tonal variation, darker patches, and small dark flecks. A vertical line is visible down the centre of the rug.

Attributed to the Middle Atlas at low-to-medium confidence. The attribution is supported by the use of undyed wool throughout and a design created through texture rather than colour, consistent with the material logic of the Middle Atlas neutral weaving tradition. Care
Shake out or vacuum using low suction with the beater bar turned off. Vacuum gently over the raised cord to avoid flattening the texture that makes the pattern visible. Spot-clean with cold water and mild soap. Professional cleaning is recommended for a full wash. Undyed wool may show soil sooner than darker wool.
